With this blog, I aim to be unregretful, honest and real with every word that is published in this space. However, in the same breath, we want to emphasize our understanding of the importance of also listening with compassion and always conveying our words respectfully and with good and clear intentions.

For me personally, health and well-being is extremely important in my life, and forms part of the lifestyle I have developed. I wasn’t always this way, however, since I made the decision to transform my life for the better, I have never, and will never, look back. In this space, I will be posting about how the world as we know it has transformed so drastically in so many different ways, and how these changes are affecting our lifestyles, the planet and the ecosystems etc. Also getting deeper into the advantages and disadvantages of these changes, and how we can (and sometimes have to) adapt to and keep up with the changes.

I am quite sure that everyone reading this (as well as the one writing this, that is, me) has tried a diet at some stage in your life. And I’m also quite sure that the majority of us didn’t get the desired effect. I’ve been there, done that, got the T shirt and about 3 years ago I realised something very important. all living beings have diets that they follow. They are wired that way to follow the specific diet that was designed for them, and they live their lives consuming that food. However, human beings are the only ones that feel the need to go on diets, which implies it is not a long term or permanent or sustainable solution; it is simply temporary. Since that realisation, I have changed my perception about food, and developed a diet for myself that is sustainable.

In this space, I will be posting about what is good to eat, what should be avoided, what should be consumed in moderation only, as well as providing some fun, interesting and delicious recipes and kitchen hacks for you to try at home.
