MORE ABOUT MY REASON FOR WRITING…

“I find the best way to love someone is not to change them, but instead, help them reveal the greatest version of themselves.”

I begin with this quote because I acknowledge everything I write as my own, which is developed from my personal experiences. I endeavour to only post content that is honest, accurate and unharmful. An important activity I’ve made a habit of doing before starting any major practice is “setting an intention”. Because if you don’t have an intention or a goal you want to achieve by doing something, why are you even doing it? I believe in performing meaningful actions. It may not be for a personal gain, which is fine, but it must be for improvement of something or someone. The feeling you get from being involved in something bigger than yourself is more fulfilling than any solo mission you embark. By setting an intention, you allow your energy to be focussed and you will find your efforts to be greatly intensified.

As I write about various topics and categories, I want to convey my experiences and journeys with humility and respect. I want to create a platform where anyone and everyone can arrive and feel welcome and like they belong. I want to provide the opportunity for people to easily learn and get to know about new places and subjects that may not have previously been considered. And I want to share ideas and experiences that open people’s minds and hearts in ways they never thought were possible. It is not my intention to try and convince others to follow the path I have led, nor do I wish to imply that other paths are any less acceptable. Every single person is unique in the way they think, function and operate and you are encouraged to lead a life that is true to yourself.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

By setting and working towards my goals and dreams, and sharing these experiences as I do, I hope to motivate and inspire you to become the greatest version of yourself by realising the unlimited possibilities for your own goals and dreams, and then provide the knowledge and support to help you achieve them. As you approach and eventually reach your goals and dreams, I encourage you to humbly share your own experiences, journeys and successes so that others around you find the courage to do the same. Let’s grow together and realise the endless possibilities.

I personally believe we are able to extract valuable life lessons from even the simplest experiences in life, which can be useful to us, as well as those around us, if we are willing to share our stories. I am privileged and truly grateful to be able to share the ones that have helped me to develop emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually, ultimately allowing me to progress from just existing, to really living.

Go on, don’t be shy; reach new heights and let your bright light shine.

Bye for now.
